Deleting your account
You can delete your Kilemat account and the data attached to it at any time. Having a subscription does not prevent it.

If you can sign in
This is the fastest way and it takes effect immediately.
- On the website: open Settings and use Delete account at the bottom.
- In the Android app: Settings, then Delete account.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because Kilemat is not the merchant: Google Play or Stripe took the payment and only they can stop it. If you delete first you may keep being charged, with no Kilemat account left to connect the payment to.
The subscription and cancellation page has the steps for each store.
What is deleted
Your account, your name and email address, your password or linked sign-in, your avatar, all of your learning progress and scores, your saved words and their review schedule, your activity history and streak, your daily plans, your friendships and friend requests, your blocks, your privacy settings and your subscription record. All of it, at once, and none of it can be recovered.
What is not deleted, and why
Records of payments are held by Google Play, Stripe and RevenueCat. They are the parties legally obliged to keep them, they are needed for a refund or a chargeback after the account is gone, and Kilemat cannot delete them on your behalf.
Kilemat keeps a log of what those payment providers told it and when. It holds no name, no email address and no learning data, only an opaque customer identifier, and it exists so a billing dispute can still be answered.
A report you filed about another account, or one filed about yours, is removed when either account is deleted.
If you cannot sign in
Send the request below from the email address on the account. We will confirm to that address before anything is deleted, because a deletion request that is not verified is a way to delete somebody else's account.
If you signed in with Google or Apple, use the address that sign-in uses.
Other privacy requests
A copy of your data, a correction, or any other privacy request goes to the same place. The privacy policy lists what you can ask for.
